Mrs. Chugg's 4th grade students practiced their ability to identify the four types of sentences (Declarative, Interrogative, Imperative, and Exclamatory). They walked around the school visiting Task Cards posted on the walls and recorded their answers on a chart. Mrs. Milton's 5th grade students were also working in the hall on their math concepts through the use of small group Wall Posters.
Mrs. Chugg's 4th grade students assisted Miss Wulf's Kindergartners today with completing their "When I'm 100 Years Old" booklets for the 100th Day of school celebration. The 4th graders wrote out the Kindergartners' answers in highlighter, then the Kindergartners traced over it with their pencils.
Attention Elementary Parents: The NED Show Assembly is tomorrow morning. If you sent in an order last month, we still have it. However, if you did not get a chance to order the flier is posted below. Remember, Never Give Up-Encourage Others-Do Your Best and don't forget your YO_YO. Cash or check (To: Crest Ridge Elementary) is accepted.
This is the last week for Prom Dress/Formal Wear Donations!!! I will be hosting a shop night, March 13th from 4-7pm! This event will be free to any Crest Ridge student attending the Prom.
I am beyond grateful for all the donations we have already received!
Wear white and cheer on our boys in the Sweet 16 match up at HOME!!!
Don't forget pom poms will be available through FBLA for $1 each tomorrow to level up the Cougar Spirit in the Home section! Pom poms will be sold before school in the lobby and during school hours in Mrs Russell's room! LET'S GO COUGARS!!!!!!!!
Tuesday's Sectional game at Crest Ridge vs Weaubleau will be digital tickets only. Theme is "Whiteout", game time is 7:00pm!!!! See this picture for step by step directions.

Congrats on your big WIN, Cougars!!! Let's rally to support the Cougars at home this Tuesday for sectionals! FBLA will be selling pom poms for $1 to cheer on the Cougars! Available Tues 2/27 before school in the lobby and during school in Mrs Russell's room! (Proceeds from sales help cover our costs for the FBLA State Leadership Conference- thank you!)

Crest Ridge Students got to tour the Warrensburg Area Career Center this week.
4th graders are working hard on their keyboarding skills each day using the home row and good posture!! Children who learn to type will undoubtedly have an advantage in their adult life when it comes to career progression and possibilities. Keyboarding skills can help children with specific learning difficulties such as ADHD, dysgraphia, and dyslexia, where they will often struggle to write by hand.
